We met at a pub in Oxford. I was studying for my Master’s and he was stationed (Army) nearby in Abingdon.
When did you know he / she was the one? Was there something he / she did?
Within a week. We “just knew”
What is the most memorable date you’ve ever had?
James drove 3,000 miles through Europe (10 countries) on a last minute road trip while I wrote my thesis a couple of weeks before it was due from the front seat. We went white water rafting, saw waterfalls, and more.
Tell us about the proposal (did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?)
We went to Pett Level Beach in Kent where James is from. We sat on the rocks by the sea and he proposed. I did see it coming – we had mutually decided to start a life together.
Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.
We both love how goofy we are together and how often we make each other laugh. We have similar senses of humour.

James is exceedingly annoying sometimes (on purpose). He likes to wind me up for his own entertainment. I made a list of things I like about James to remind me when he is being exceptionally annoying. I brought it on this trip with me. It is in my wallet.
Describe the theme or décor for your wedding.
Rustic barn wedding, hopefully still elegant.
