Katharine and Trent met while they were in college together at the University of Kansas. Trent was working at an info fair to promote Jayhawk Motorsports. Katharine was a fellow Mechanical Engineering student looking at clubs to join. The two hit it off and the rest as they say, is history.
For their engagement session, we returned to their meeting place and wandered around the KU campus. We stopped by the iconic spots like the Chi Omega Fountain, Wescoe Beach, Budig Hall and wrapped up the evening in the blossoming field next to the Spencer Research Library. We had originally planned for a sunrise session the next morning but the Kansas weather struck again with a cold spring storm. Trent and Katharine braved the cold and wet conditions with me at 8am and we went home with some of my favorite rain photos.
