Tell us how you first met? Who what when where why?

Give us the dirty details. – Josh and I met in college at KU while working at (then) New Student Orientation. We went on a few awkward dates as friends and finally after two years of friendship, decided to give it a chance. It was a long distance relationship for 4 out of the first 8 months, but well worth it in the end!

When did you know he / she was the one? Was there something he / she did?

Natalie – I knew it when Josh helped me move all my stuff down to Texas and stayed with me for the first 10 days and helped me settle. I just knew someone willing to do that and stay strong about our relationship was something very special.

What is the most memorable date you’ve ever had?

Tell us about the proposal (did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out?) – Josh and I picked out a ring together after dating for 3 years. Little did I know that he actually bought the ring that day. Fast-forward five months later, Josh surprised me with a trip to LONDON. On the second night there, we went out to eat for my birthday, and while walking to dinner, we stopped by the riverside to chat. Josh dropped to one knee and popped the question.

Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.

Natalie – I love josh’s nerdy, goofy side, and that I can completely be myself around him.
